We are looking to add a Director of Manufacturing to oversee all our new build installations across all the branches. Oversight will include, but not limited to, fabrication and installation capacity at on-branches, technical design team, and the assurance of standardized Falcon builds at all branch locations. This position is based out of our Regina branch.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for the ongoing planning development, execution and management of Falcon’s installation and fabrication resources.

Manage the distribution, scheduling and planning of installation and fabrication work within the different facilities and third party vendors with the goal of improving capacity, on time delivery and efficiency

Develop a Quality Management process within Falcon.

Ensure ongoing compliance with local, national, and international standards and legislation.

Other duties as required
Qualifications:
-
Strong inventory and production and team building management skills.
-
Must possess excellent communication skills for liaising and communicating with vendors, customers, and internal departments.

Practical experience with risk management, product testing, capability studies, and control plans.

Training and knowledge of Six Sigma techniques, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing are desirable.

Highly motivated and self-directed capable of multi-tasking, and able to work with minimal supervision.

Detail-oriented and analytical thinker.
-
Able to interface directly with cross functional teams.
-
Ability to create and review technical documentation, including project plans, test procedures, and design documents.

Able to develop, review, and maintain metrics and audits.
-
Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
-
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite.

A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.

Strong understanding of hydraulics, electrical and fabrication as it relates to truck-mounted equipment.

Travel will be required to various Falcon locations, suppliers, and customers.

Ability to attend and conduct presentations.
-
Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.

Overtime as required.
