We are looking to add a Director of Manufacturing to oversee all our new build installations across all the branches. Oversight will include, but not limited to, fabrication and installation capacity at on-branches, technical design team, and the assurance of standardized Falcon builds at all branch locations. This position is based out of our Regina branch.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the ongoing planning development, execution and management of Falcon’s installation and fabrication resources.
  • Manage the distribution, scheduling and planning of installation and fabrication work within the different facilities and third party vendors with the goal of improving capacity, on time delivery and efficiency
  • Develop a Quality Management process within Falcon.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with local, national, and international standards and legislation.
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Strong inventory and production and team building management skills.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills for liaising and communicating with vendors, customers, and internal departments.
  • Practical experience with risk management, product testing, capability studies, and control plans.
  • Training and knowledge of Six Sigma techniques, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing are desirable.
  • Highly motivated and self-directed capable of multi-tasking, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Detail-oriented and analytical thinker.
  • Able to interface directly with cross functional teams.
  • Ability to create and review technical documentation, including project plans, test procedures, and design documents.
  • Able to develop, review, and maintain metrics and audits.
  • Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite.
  • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulics, electrical and fabrication as it relates to truck-mounted equipment.
  • Travel will be required to various Falcon locations, suppliers, and customers.
  • Ability to attend and conduct presentations.
  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
  • Overtime as required.
