Falcon Equipment Receives COR Certification in British Columbia and Manitoba
Falcon Equipment is committed to exceeding the health & safety industry standards. They understand why providing a safe workplace is valuable not only for their employees but also for their customers and the industry.
Their commitment to health and safety has resulted in them receiving their COR (Certification of Recognition) Certification in British Columbia and Manitoba, with commitment to also receive COR in Alberta and Saskatchewan in 2022!
The COR Certification was awarded to their Surrey and Nanaimo branches by the BC Construction Safety Alliance (BCCSA) and to their Winnipeg branch by the Manitoba Heavy Construction Association. COR is a voluntary incentive program that recognizes companies who develop and implement health and safety and injury management systems that meet an industry standard. The program rewards employers who take a strategic approach to workplace safety and are committed to reducing both the human and financial costs of workplace injuries.
Blair Norberg, Vice President of Falcon, explains “We are proud to be an industry leader and set the standard when it comes to providing a safe work environment. Becoming COR is no easy task but as a team we have put together a solid Health & Safety program that goes above and beyond. We want our customers to know that when they choose to work with Falcon, they are choosing to work with a company that values safety as a core part of our culture. As our business continues to grow across Western Canada and beyond, we want to keep safety at the forefront of everything we do.”
Falcon looks forward to 2022 and seeing their branches in Alberta and Saskatchewan be recognized as COR by their local safety alliance.
