Falcon Equipment Ltd. is currently seeking a Sales Account Manager for our Surrey, BC Head Office.

The successful candidate will drive profitable sales growth by delivering Falcon Equipment’s value proposition to new and existing accounts across an assigned territory. Understanding customer needs and presenting cost effective solutions that increase customer spend, along with long-term loyalty and retention, will be keys to success. You will identify and classify account opportunities and potential by establishing call priorities and meeting frequency to secure and maintain new business within the assigned territory. Providing outstanding customer service and after-sales support will be equally important. While part of the Falcon team, you will independently manage your territory and add value to the entire Falcon sales organization through ongoing communication about market opportunities and business intelligence.

For successful consideration, you must bring the following:

  • Ideally, a minimum of five (5) years of related outside sales experience in the industrial, heavy equipment or material handling sector, working independently to prospect, qualify, develop, and close business through a consultative sales process.
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets and develop long-term customer relationships.
  • Experience selling to public sector organizations is a definite asset, specifically municipalities and utilities.
  • Knowledge of the tendering process and RFQ completion.
  • Familiarity with, and an affinity for, heavy equipment in industrial and transportation settings.
  • Proficient and comfortable in the use of CRM or sales tracking systems.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
  • Post-secondary education supported by formal sales training would be a definite asset.
  • A willingness to travel 6 to 10 weeks per year for customers, tradeshows, etc.

The position offers very competitive base salary and incentive plan, full extended health and dental benefits, along with car allowance. Full onboarding and product training will be provided to the selected candidates.
